Blue Planet-works Developing Enterprise Smartphone with Samsung

Blue Planet-works (located in Shibuya, Tokyo), a cybersecurity software development company announced that it has developed a smartphone for enterprise use with Samsung Group in Korea.  The new smartphone “TRUSTICA Mobile-Galaxy” is bundled with a security software developed by Blue Planet-works.  On this smartphone, users cannot open files if they do not have a “key” which only belongs to a specified receiver.  This device is planned to be released around February 2020.  This business will be started in Japan and South Korea, and then expand to other countries.  Investors of Blue Planet-works include ANA Holding, Dentsu, Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance, and others.

セキュリティーソフト開発のブループラネットワークス（東京・渋谷）は13日、韓国サムスングループと法人向けのスマートフォンを共同開発すると発表した。新スマホ「トラスティカ・モバイル・ギャラクシー」はブループラネットのセキュリティーソフトを搭載し、指定した受信者のスマホにしか保存されていない「鍵」と一致しないとファイルを開けない仕組みにできる。端末は2020年2月をめどに販売を開始する計画。日本と韓国を皮切りに世界市場への展開も目指す。ブループラネットは、ANAホールディングスや電通、損害保険ジャパン日本興亜などが出資している。
